June 11, Fineko/abc.az. The Central Bank of Azerbaijan has issued an indefinite license for organization of electronic money to Modenis LLC, the owner of E-manat payment terminals.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the CBA that the license was issued on the basis of the Law on Payment Services & Systems.

Earlier, the CBA issued perpetual licenses to A-Solutions LLC and United Payment LLC to operate as an electronic money organization, and Token Azerbaijan LLC as a payment organization. Thus, the number of licensed organizations in this field has reached four.
