June 11, Fineko/abc.az. In the early hours of trading on Tuesday, June 11, bitcoin fell to a one-week low, as investors are concerned about inflation data that could tighten the position of the U.S. Federal Reserve System (FRS).
ABC.AZ repots that for example, bitcoin declined more than by 2.5% to below $68,000. Following the largest digital asset, ether was also under pressure, which was losing more than 3%. Altcoins and meme tokens are also in the red.
According to Anand Gomez, co-founder of the Paradigm derivatives platform, the crypto market is also affected by the lack of news.
"The market is like a dependent person who constantly needs bullish news to stay awake. Therefore, when they are not there, the market moves down," he said.
