June 10, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-May 2024, 9,818 flights were made to Azerbaijan.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Tourism Agency that this indicator is 22.5% more against Jan-May 2023.

The most flights to Azerbaijan were made from Russia - 2,928 (11.6% more than a year ago).

In May alone, 2,228 flights were carried out in Azerbaijan (23.4% more than a year earlier). Last month, 689 flights were made from Russia (16.3% more than a year ago).

Türkiye ranks 2nd in terms of the number of flights to Azerbaijan after Russia - 2,083 flights, which is 10.2% more than a year earlier.

Top 3 also includes the UAE - 1,231 flights (+38.6%).
