May 24, Fineko/abc.az. A new appointment has been made at the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA).

ABC.AZ reports that Fuad Jafarov has been appointed the director of the CBA's Strategy & Project Management Department.

Jafarov joined the CBA in February 2023. He held the position of head of the department from that date to the present.

Fuad Jafarov has almost 15 years of experience in strategy, transformation, project management and organizational development in the financial sector. He received a bachelor's degree from Azerbaijan State University of Economics and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of The Hague, located in the Kingdom of the Netherlands. Over the years, he graduated from specialized programs at Boston College, Central European University, Harvard Business School (online), located in the USA.
