May 17, Fineko/abc.az. Ilham Gafarov has been appointed an independent member of the Supervisory Board of Bank VTB (Azerbaijan).

ABC.AZ reports that the relevant decision was made at the bank shareholders’ general meeting.

Gafarov received a bachelor's and master's degree in International Economic Relations from the Azerbaijan State University of Economics.

He worked as a banking expert and national consultant at AccessBank, the International Bank of Azerbaijan, VTB (Azerbaijan) and other international financial organizations.
