May 1, Fineko/abc.az. The Central Bank of Azerbaijan does not observe unfair treatment towards liquidated banks’ depositors by the Azerbaijan Deposit Insurance Fund (the liquidator of banks), ABC.AZ reports, quoting CBA chairman Taleh Kazimov.

"There have been many appeals from depositors regarding the fact that their deposits are not returned. But after an investigation, we see that the liquidator follows the law, and applicants’ claims are unfounded. For the period of my work as the CBA chairman, I haven’t yet encountered cases when a deposit was not returned to a depositor. The liquidation process is primarily controlled by the CBA," Kazimov said.
