ABC.AZ reports that Avshar Gyrdal, CEO of Mastercard for Azerbaijan and Türkiye, said about this at a press conference.

He noted that contactless payments and private mapping are currently among the fastest growing factors in the world.

"Azerbaijan is also joining this trend in the world. I’d like to note that one of the procedures that distinguishes digitalization is e-commerce. Mastercard constantly monitors the market. I can say with confidence that in the near future we can expect further expansion of e-commerce in Azerbaijan, as well as around the world," he stressed.
