April 5, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has signed an order on additional measures to ensure the operation of the Alat Free Economic Zone (FEZ).

ABC.AZ reports that on the basis of Presidential Decree #1032 “On establishment of the Alat Free Economic Zone and organization of its activity" from May 22, 2020, part of the state property located in the administrative territories of Garadagh district of Baku and Salyan district and established as the territory of the Alat FEZ a plot of land with an area of 4,312.56 the hectare specified in the land management plan attached to this order, drawn up by the Ministry of Economy of Azerbaijan, is transferred to the authorized structure of the Alat FEZ with the right of one-time, gratuitous and permanent use.

The Ministry of Economy of Azerbaijan and the authorized structure of the Alat FEZ are tasked to resolve issues arising from this order.
