Azerbaijan's total exports reaches close to $5 bn for 2 months

April 3, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan's total exports for Jan-Feb 2024 amounted to $4.8 bn, and exports of the non-oil sector - $455 million. Over Jan-Feb 2024, food exports totaled $137.1 million.

This was published in the March issue of the Export Review of the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms & Communications, ABC.AZ reports. It was noted that for the first 2 months of 2024, exports of ferrous metals increased by 46.4%, fats and oils of vegetable and animal origin by 29.7%, cotton by 29.3%, and fruits and vegetables by 24.6%.

The statistical value of joint exports of agricultural and agro-industrial products for Jan-Feb 2024 grew by 16.9% up to $145.9 million. The value of the products of the agro-industrial complex, which occupies a significant place in the composition of oil/gas exports, reached $36.6 million.
