March 29, Fineko/abc.az. The remaining amount of loans given by Azerbaijani banks to the agricultural sector at the end of 2023 exceeded 1.5 bn manats.

ABC.AZ reports that CBA deputy chairman Aliyar Mammadyarov said about this at the III Agribusiness Development Forum in Guba.

He added that ¼ of them were given at the expense of state funds, and ¾ - at the expense of banks' own finances.

"Stimulating lending to the real sector of the economy, including agriculture, is one of the priorities of CBA's regulatory policy," he said.
