March 11, Fineko/abc.az. The first local cybersecurity product will be presented in Azerbaijan by the end of this year.

ABC.AZ reports that Shahmar Hajiyakhyaev, the head of the Information Security Department of the Agency for Innovation & Digital Development (under the Ministry of Digital Development & Transport), said about this at a press conference devoted to agency's activity for 2023 and goals for 2024.

He added that by the end of 2024, a total of about 400 people are expected to be involved in training at the Cybersecurity Center of Azerbaijan.

"The first 60 students of the center have already completed their studies, 78% of them are employed. In May and October of 2023, two more stages of registration took place and 120 people had the opportunity to join the trainings," Hajiyakhyaev noted.
