March 7, Fineko/abc.az. The Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA), with the participation of the State Oil Fund, has held a currency auction.

According to the CBA, at the foreign exchange auction on March 7, the demand of banks amounted to $79.1 million and was fully secured. This is $10.2 million or 14.8% more than at the last auction.

At a foreign exchange auction on March 5, the CBA sold $68.9 million to banks.

As a result of the auction, the weighted average exchange rate of the manat was formed at the level of 1.7000 AZN/USD.
