February 29, Fineko/abc.az. The Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA), with the participation of the State Oil Fund, has conducted a currency auction.

According to the CBA, at the foreign exchange auction on February 29, the demand of banks amounted to $ 80 million and was fully provided. This is $25.1 million or 23.9% less than at the last auction.

At a foreign exchange auction on February 27, the CBA sold $105.1 million to banks.

As a result of the auction, the weighted average exchange rate of the manat was formed at the level of 1.7000 AZN/USD.
