February 14, Fineko/abc.az. The cost of goods sold by business entities of the non-governmental sector in the reporting month grew by 3.5% in real terms compared with the same month of the previous year and made up 99.8% of the total retail turnover.

Compared with January 2023, retail trade turnover in January 2024 increased by 2.6% for enterprises in real terms, by 4.2% for individual entrepreneurs and by 2.7% for markets and fairs, ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Statistics Committee.

Over the reported month, one person of the population bought for 441.3 manats on average in the retail trade network, including food, beverages and tobacco products for 242.3 manats and non-food products for 199 manats.
