February 8, Fineko/abc.az. The National Deposit Center (NDC) held a presentation of the NDC development strategy for 2024-26 for representatives of investment companies operating in the country.

ABC.AZ reports that NDC chairman of board Agagusein Khudaverdiyev, who spoke at the event, informed the participants about the new strategic vision and mission of the organization, brought to the attention of the participants detailed information about the goals of the strategy, the initiatives and events arising from them.

It was noted that the strategy envisages transformation of the NDC, including becoming an organization with advanced corporate governance and information security capabilities. However, securities settlements and the adaptation of custodian services to international best practices are also priority goals.

During the event, answers were given to questions from reps of investment companies, and exchange of views took place between participants on the development of the capital market, including current trends and challenges.

The importance of effective communication with investment companies in connection with implementation of the strategy was emphasized, and regular meetings were agreed upon.

The strategy will be announced in the coming days.
