January 31, Fineko/abc.az. Our monetary base has grown by 29.6%.

ABC.AZ reports that Central Bank’s chairman Taleh Kazimov said about this at Wednesday’s press conference.

The CBA has taken preventive measures regarding the impact of the growth of the monetary base on future inflation, Kazimov said.

"We’ve seen this from the very beginning, so we’ve taken certain preventive measures in this regard. In view of this, growth of the monetary base neutralizes growth of inflation. Our forecast for economic growth also remained the same. That is, in 2025 our economic growth will average 3-4%," Kazimov said.
