January 25, Fineko/abc.az. The Central Bank of Azerbaijan is planning to issue licenses to entrepreneurs through an online electronic platform, ABC.AZ quotes department head Ramil Mahmudov as saying this at a roundtable in Baku.

He noted that electronic platforms have been created since this year to facilitate the work of entrepreneurs working in a number of sectors of the economy with the Central Bank. 

"One of them is a platform for the electronic issuance of licenses. Work in this direction has already begun. Once this platform is launched, there will be no need to conduct transactions on paper. Because information systems of a number of governmental agencies will be integrated into this platform," he said.
