January 23, Fineko/abc.az. The Central Bank of Azerbaijan has completed inspections in connection with the incident that occurred on January 6, which caused disruptions in bank card transactions.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the CBA, based on the results of the inspections and analysis, shortcomings were identified in the activity of AzeriCard processing center, which is a subsidiary of the International Bank of Azerbaijan OJSC.

The CBA noted that mandatory instructions have been given to eliminate the identified shortcomings of AzeriCard.

"The Central Bank attaches great importance to ensuring stable, stable and reliable operation of payment systems, as well as consumer protection. The CBA also continues to inform the public in a timely manner about the measures being taken in this direction," the bank said.
