January 16, Fineko/abc.az. The income from the management of finances of the State Oil Fund of Azerbaijan (SOFAZ) at the end of 2023 reaches AZN 6.337 bn.

ABC.AZ informs that this is stated in SOFAZ’s report. Over the reported term, AZN 11.737 bn were transferred to the State Budget as part of the implementation of SOFAZ budget for 2023.

SOFAZ allocated AZN 27.9 million to finance the State Program to increase the international competitiveness of the higher education system in the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2019-23.

SOFAZ financing for the State Program of youth education in prestigious higher educational institutions of foreign countries for 2022-26 totaled AZN 34.3 million.

Due to the difference caused by changes in exchange rates, SOFAZ's off-budget revenues amounted to AZN 2.132 bn.
