January 9, Fineko/abc.az. The Baku branch of the National Bank of Iran completed 2023 with profit of 3.87 million mantas (2-fold more versus 2022 - profit of 1.867 million), ABC.AZ reports with reference to bank’s financial statements.

In 2022, the net interest income of the Baku branch of Bank Melli Iran amounted to 3.58 million mantas and last year – 3.195 million manats.

As of January 1, 2024, the assets of the Bank of Iran totaled 121.764 million mantas (26% more than at the end of the previous year). Of them, 4.78 million manats are loans to customers. Over the past 1 year, the loan portfolio of the Baku branch decreased by 57%.

In the Baku branch of Bank Melli Iran, funds in customer accounts increased from 8.904 million manats to 44.27 million manats.
