January 9, Fineko/abc.az. With AniPay launched in late 2020, the volume of payments also broke a new record in 2023.

ABC.AZ reports that in the first 11 months of 2023, transactions in the amount of 972.2 million manats were carried out using the instant payment system of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan. A total of 529 million transactions were performed.

This is 504.4 million manats, or 2-fold more than a year ago.

Last November, an operation worth 71.3 million manats was carried out with AniPay. An average of 1,400 manats were spent per operation.

Unipay has been operating since October 2020. From the moment of launch to the present day, this system has carried out operations worth 1.85 bn manats.
