December 30, Fineko/abc.az. The portfolio of state funds on business loans in Azerbaijan began to grow from November, although it decreased until October, but significantly lower than at the beginning of the year.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Central Bank that the volume of loans given to businesses by state funds totaled 941.5 million manats as of December 1. The indicator is 110.7 million manats, or 11% less than at the beginning of the year, although over the past month the growth was 0.5% (4.5 million manats).

At the beginning of the year, the portfolio of state funds in business amounted to 1.5 billion manats. And at the beginning of the previous year it was 1.213 billion manats.

As of December 1, 2023, banks have business loans in the amount of 12.421 billion. This means that the share of public funds in the total portfolio is 7.6%. For example, it was 12.5% in early 2023 and 9.7% in early 2022.
