December 29, Fineko/abc.az. The Board of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan  has approved the Regulation on the Single Information System of Currency Transactions.

ABC.AZ reports that the CBA chairman signed the relevant decision.

According to the document, a single information system of currency transactions conducted by residents and non-residents will be formed in Azerbaijan.

The information system will provide information on currency transactions of Azerbaijani banks, local branches of foreign banks, the national postal operator, and legal entities that have received a license for currency exchange activities. The expenses for the maintenance and operation of the information system will be financed by the CBA. It will operate around the clock in real time, including non-working days.

You can use the system for free through an electronic cabinet and/or an electronic data request module. To log in to the system, its participants will need identification using an enhanced electronic signature, and customers will be able to receive information about their currency transactions by logging in using ASAN login on the CBA electronic services portal.

According to the Regulation, information on currency exchange transactions will be submitted to the information system from March 1, 2024, and information on transactions on the transfer of foreign currency to foreign accounts - from July 1, 2024.
