December 28, Fineko/abc.az. The Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA), with the participation of the State Oil Fund, held a currency auction.

According to the CBA, at the foreign exchange auction on December 28, the demand of banks amounted to $77.8 million and was fully secured. This is $2.1 million, or 2.63% less than at the last auction. At the currency auction on December 26, the CBA sold $79.9 million to banks.

Following today's auction, the weighted average exchange rate of the manat was formed at the level of 1.7000 AZN/USD.
