December 27, Fineko/abc.az. Goods imported as humanitarian aid will be exempt from customs duties.

ABC.AZ reports that this is reflected in the amendments to the Law on Customs Tariff, signed by President Ilham Aliyev.

Under law, humanitarian organizations registered by law on the territory of Azerbaijan, as well as goods imported as humanitarian aid by other legal entities and individuals with the consent of the body (institution) established by the relevant executive authority, will be exempt from customs duties.

The law comes into force on January 1, 2024.
