December 18, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan increased cigarette imports for Jan-Oct 2023.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Statistics Committee that our country imported 227.8 million cigarettes for $5.014 million from abroad.

Compared with Jan-Nov 2022, cigarette imports grew by 58.3% in volume terms and by 48.9% in quantitative terms.

Over Jan-Nov 2023, cigarette production in Azerbaijan increased by 18.3%. Currently, as of 1 December 2023, there are 751.9 million ready-made cigarettes in the country.
