November 23, Fineko/abc.az. The monthly and annual reduction in the number of bank branches has been recorded in Azerbaijan.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Central Bank that as of November 1, 2023, the number of bank branches was 86 (2 branches, or 2.3% less than on October 1, 2023 and 8 branches, or 8.5% less than on November 1, 2022).

As of October 1, 2023, the number of bank branches was 88, as of November 1, 2022 – 94.

The decline on these indicators is linked with cancellation of the license for Muganbank’s activity in October.
