November 23, Fineko/abc.az. The number of payment cards in circulation through the systems of banks and Azerpocht LLC increased by 271,000 cards at the end of October compared with last month and amounted to 16.21 million cards.

ABC.AZ reports that compared with Jan-Oct 2022, this indicator grew by 20.9%.

Growth in the number of payment cards was 20.8% for debit cards and 22.1% for credit cards. The number of salary cards increased by 72,000, credit cards by 389,000, and other cards by 2.2 million cards versus Jan-Oct 2022.
