Banks that have not allocated funds to special reserves – Report

November 14, Fineko/abc.az. Nine out of the 24 banks operating in Azerbaijan did not allocate finances to special reserves for Jan-Sept 2023.

ABC.AZ reports that among them are Naxçıvan Bank, Xalq Bank, Premium Bank, AFB Bank, Bank BTB, Bank VTB Azərbaycan, Yelo Bank and Bank of Baku, as well as the Baku branch of the National Bank of Iran.

In other words, these banks have saved on transfers to special reserves. The highest indicator in this regard was recorded on Bank of Baku (9.383 million manats) and the lowest on Naxçıvan Bank (835,000 manats).

The remaining 15 banks have created reserves in various amounts. In four of them, this figure exceeds 25 million manats. These banks are Kapital Bank (83.28 million manats), International Bank of Azerbaijan (53.1 million manats), Unibank (31.968 million manats) and PASHA Bank (26.685 million manats).

In three out of the 11 remaining banks, the amount of transfers to special reserves is from 10 million to 25 million manats, in six banks - from 1 million to 10 million manats, in two banks - less than 1 million manats.
