November 14, Fineko/abc.az. The Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) has worsened the forecast on the average daily production of oil and other liquid hydrocarbons in Azerbaijan for 2023.

ABC.AZ reports that production forecasts for 2024 remained unchanged.

According to the OPEC forecast, in 2023 the average daily production of oil and other liquid hydrocarbons in the country is reduced by 20,000 barrels and is projected at about 700,000 barrels.

It is noted that the downward adjustment of the forecast is linked with the fact that production at the main oil fields in August was lower than expected.

According to the report, the daily production of liquid hydrocarbons in Azerbaijan will remain stable at 700,000 barrels by 2024 (the forecast has not changed).
