November 4, Fineko/abc.az. Mineral extraction tax receipts for the next year will amount to 158.3 million mantas (3.7 million mantas, or 2.3% less than the forecast for 2023).
ABC.AZ reports that this is stated in the "Presentation of draft state and review budgets for 2024" published by the Ministry of Finance.
Of this amount, 89.1%, or 141 million mantas account for the oil sector and 10.9%, or 17.3 million manats for the non-oil sector.
Compared with the forecast for 2023, the production tax for the non–oil sector will amount to 7.3 million manats or 1.7 times more, the production tax for the oil sector will amount to 11 million manats or 7.2% less, compared with the implementation of 2022, the mineral extraction tax for the non-oil sector is provided for 8.4 million manats or 1.9-fold more, the tax on production in the oil sector for 11.1 million mantas, or 7.3% less.
