October 27, Fineko/abc.az. A decrease in the number of debit card transactions has been reported in Azerbaijan.

ABC.AZ informs with reference to the Central Bank that as of October 1, 2023, the number of operations of this kind reached 96,478.

This is 45,554 operations (89.5%) more year-on-year, and 2,189 operations (2.2%) less than on a monthly basis.

So, as of October 1, 2022, the number of operations of this type totaled 50,924 transactions, and as of August 1, 2023 — 1,98,667 operations.
