October 19, Fineko/abc.az. In Azerbaijan, the ratio of State Budget deficit to GDP is projected to decrease to 2.2% in 2024 and to 1.9% in 2027.

ABC.AZ reports that this is stated in the Medium-term budget structure for 2024-27, published by the Ministry of Finance.

According to the document, the upper limit of State Budget deficit in 2024 is projected at AZN 2.59 billion, in 2025 – AZN 2.89 billion, in 2026 – AZN 2.379 billion, and in 2027 – AZN 2.589 billion.

State Budget deficit, as in previous years, is provided for by proceeds from privatization, proceeds from borrowings (external and internal) and the balance on a Single Treasury Account.
