September 13, Fineko/abc.az. The European Central Bank predicts that annual inflation in the eurozone in the coming year will exceed 3.0%.

ABC.AZ reports that ECB’s quarterly forecasts to be presented to the Governing Council suggest that inflation will exceed 3% in 2024, which contradicts expectations of relatively small rate cut.

"The updated forecast for 2024 significantly exceeds the central bank's target of 2% and will be higher than the June forecast of 3%. It is also higher than the 2.7% predicted by the survey of economists," ECB says.
