BSE turnover increased by 50%

September 7, Fineko/abc.az. The total value of transactions on all financial instruments at the Baku Stock Exchange CJSC (BSE) amounted to AZN 12.929 bn for Jan-Aug 2023.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the BSE that this is 49.7% more compared with Jan-Aug 2022.

Over the past year the number of transactions concluded increased by 42.7% up to 7,898 government securities made up 39.9% of the BSE turnover or AZN 5.155 bn (8.9% more than a year ago).

The value of transactions on the corporate securities market increased by 44.9% up to AZN 899.638 million, and the value of transactions on repo operations increased 2.1-fold up to AZN 6.87 bn.
