Industrial production in the eurozone increased by 0.5% in June compared to the previous month.
The European Statistical Office (Eurostat) has published seasonally adjusted industrial production data for the European Union (EU) and the Eurozone for June, ABC.AZ reports with reference to Eurostat.
Accordingly, industrial production in the eurozone increased by 0.5% in June compared to May and decreased by 1.2% compared to June 2022.
Industrial production in the EU also increased by 0.4% in June compared to the previous month and decreased by 1.2% over the same period last year.
Among the EU countries in June, the highest monthly growth in industrial production was recorded in Ireland (13.1%), Denmark (6.3%) and Lithuania (3.2%).
The largest declines were recorded in Sweden (5.3%), Finland and Malta (3.3%) and Belgium (3%).
