The Agrarian Insurance Fund (ASF) has reveald payments for agrarian insurance cases for January-June 2023.

According to ABC.AZ, the ASF said a total of AZN 1,175,000 were paid to farmers and farms in the first six months of 2023.
AZN 742,300 of insurance payments were made for crop production, AZN 432,400 for insurance of farm animals. During the reporting period, about 250 entrepreneurs and crop farms received insurance payments.

The largest number of insurance payments for crop production was for cotton growing. AZN 372,042 were paid to 100 farmers and farms in this area. For barley crops, 85 farmers were paid AZN 190,684, and for wheat crops, 35 farmers were paid AZN 158,241. And in the livestock sector, 24 farmers and farms received payments in connection with the insured event.
