July 5, Fineko/abc.az. The interim head of the Azerbaijani Office of the European Bank for Reconstruction & Development (EBRD) has been appointed, ABC.AZ reports with reference to the EBRD.

Kamola Makhmudova will be replaced in this post next year by her deputy Natalia Muravidze.

Makhmudova went on a one-year leave for health reasons and is undergoing treatment in London. She will return to her duties in August 2024.

Makhmudova has been heading the EBRD's Azerbaijan office since September 2021.
