July 3, Fineko/abc.az. 93,961 hectares of spring cotton were planted in Azerbaijan for Jan-May 2023.

ABC.AZ reports that according to the State Statistics Committee, the volume of this indicator decreased by 9.9%, or by 10,300 hectares against Jan-May 2022.

38,844 hectares were sown in Mil-Mugan Economic Region, 24,344 hectares in Karabakh Economic Region, 23,149 hectares in Shirvan–Salyan Economic Region, 6,082 hectares in Central Aran Economic Region, and 1,539 hectares in Ganja-Dashkesan Economic Region.
