October 5, Fineko/abc.az. According to official statistics, at the end of August 2026, overall loan portfolio designed for the agriculture, forestry and fisheries sectors (for banking and non-bank credit organizations) amounted to 520.8 million manats.

According to the Central Bank of Azerbaijan, this figure grew by 8 million manats, or 1.6%, compared to July (402.0 million manats - bank loans and 118.8 million manats - non-bank loans).

Despite this, over Jan-Aug 2026, the total volume of loans given to the sector decreased by 54.1 million manats, or 9.4%; thus, at the end of August 2025, this figure was at 574.9 million manats.

In annual dynamics, bank loans dropped from 453.7 million manats to 402.0 million manats and the portfolio of non-bank credit institutions from 121.2 million manats to 118.8 million manats.
