June 25, Fineko/abc.az. The Agro Credit & Development Agency (under the Ministry of Agriculture) gave loans for AZN 31.7 million for Jan-May 2023, ABC.AZ was informed at the MoA.
Subsidized loans were given to 2,156 individuals and legal entities.
About 80% of farmers engaged in agriculture are farmers who belong to small and medium-sized family farms.
In total, there are 230,000 hectares of land in their use. These farmers' access to finance is mainly in the form of subsidies provided to them by the State, concessional loans and commercial loans given by various banks.
