June 23, Fineko/abc.az. The growth rate of Türkiye's tourism sector continued in May.

ABC.AZ reports that according to the Turkish Ministry of Culture & Tourism, the number of foreigners who arrived in Türkiye in May grew by 19% against May 2022 and reached 4.5 million.

In May, in the list of countries that sent the largest number of tourists to Türkiye, Russia took the 1st place with 640,844 people. The number of foreign visitors arriving in Türkiye from the country grew by 14.24% compared with 2022.

Russia is followed by Germany with 617,617 and England with 452,724. Bulgaria and Iran are next in the list.
