June 14, Fineko/abc.az. The process of transferring part of secondary specialized educational institutions to the subordination of higher educational institutions is underway.

ABC.AZ reports that Deputy Science & Education Minister Idris Isayev said this at conference “By 2030: Socio-economic inclusiveness in Azerbaijan” within the dialogue on the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

He added that about 29,000 people currently receive vocational education: “The infrastructure of vocational educational institutions in Azerbaijan does not allow for reforms in this area. Because former IDPs have settled in these buildings. This year we’ll open a professional educational institution in Jalilabad.”
