May 3, Fineko/abc.az. Persons over the age of 18, deprived of parental care, are provided with housing by the state.

ABC.AZ reports that Deputy Minister of Labor & Social Protection Vusal Nasirli stated about this at a meeting of the Milli Majlis Committee on Labor & Social Policy.

He noted that so far this category of persons has been provided with housing, and this project is being implemented in stages.

"As for the question of what will be the fate of children in foster families after the age of 18, I note that today, in accordance with the legislation, the Ministry provides housing for persons over the age of 18 who are deprived of parental care. Even according to the information I have, we have provided housing for all young people who have reached the age of 18, left without parental care. The program is of long-term nature," the deputy minister added.
