April 10, Fineko/abc.az. Negotiations are underway to extend the contract for the Formula 1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix, ABC.AZ reports, citing Turab Teymurov, the press secretary of operating company Baku City Ring.

He noted that under the contract, F1 is the last year of Azerbaijani Grand Prix.

"But negotiations are underway to extend the contract. We hope that the Azerbaijani Grand Prix will continue, because F1 has many advantages from economic and social point of view. The final information about negotiations will be shared with the public," Teymurov stressed.
