April 3, Fineko/abc.az. President Ilham Aliyev has received chief technology officer of Turkish company Baykar, Selcuk Bayraktar.

ABC.AZ reports that the Azerbaijani leader recalled with satisfaction the recent meeting with the Turkish counterpart in Ankara and the visit of Recep Tayyip Erdogan to Azerbaijan, noting that the visits of the Turkish president to the territories liberated from occupation are of particular importance.

President Aliyev said that the Turkish defense industry has achieved great success in recent years, stressed that in this regard, Baykar’s activity plays the leading role, and once again noted the role that the products of this company played in the destruction of military equipment of the Armenian occupiers during the Patriotic War.

In conclusion, the head of our state was presented with a memorable gift.

During the conversation, it was stressed that friendly and fraternal relations between Azerbaijan and Turkiye are successfully developing, as in all other spheres, in the military and defense industries, and an exchange of views on the prospects of cooperation took place.
