ABC.AZ reports that the relevant statement was made by Emin Huseynov, Azerbaijani President’s Special Representative for occupation-liberated territories that are part of the Karabakh Economic Region (with the exception of the Shusha region).

“Since the master plan was first approved in Aghdam, it is natural that several new and pilot projects are being implemented here. Today, our state has started all the works designed on behalf of the president at its own expense, and even some works have gained momentum. By 2026, you have set many economic goals. Numerous infrastructure projects have been launched on the territory of the Aghdam, Fuzuli, Terter, and Agjabedi districts. Work on the resettlement of 20 families has been accelerated. In total, it is planned to build 15,999 houses. It is planned to build 5,608 houses in the city of Aghdam,” Huseynov said.
