January 17, Fineko/abc.az. Masdar (UAE) is reliable and important partner for Azerbaijan
ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Ministry of Energy that Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov stated about this during his meeting with Suhail Mohamed Al Mazroui, Minister of Energy & Infrastructure of the UAE, as part of his participation in the Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week.
It was noted that the participation of the Azerbaijani president in the event, as well as the meeting of the heads of state, is a manifestation of high-level relations between the countries. It was emphasized that energy occupies an important place in the cooperation relations that add strategic importance to the ties between Azerbaijan and the UAE.
"Currently, the main priority of Azerbaijan is to produce electricity and hydrogen from rich renewable energy sources, integrate them into the country's energy system, transport them to more European markets, and construct the necessary infrastructure. Masdar is our important and reliable partner in implementing this multifaceted activity," Shahbazov said.
Emphasizing the importance of international cooperation in green energy, Suhail Mohamed Al Mazroui said that they attach great importance to energy cooperation with Azerbaijan in the context of brotherhood and expressed his country's support for the realization of joint mega projects.
