Oil gets cheaper, and Brent is at $79.18 a barrel

January 10, Fineko/abc.az. Prices for oil of benchmark grades are declining in Tuesday’s trading after rising the day before.

The price of March Brent crude futures at the London ICE Futures Exchange fell by $0.47 (0.59%) to $79.18 per barrel by 09:30 am. Following the trading on 9 January, Brent crude futures for March rose by $1.08 (1.38%) to $79.65 per barrel.

By 09:30 am, the price of WTI crude oil futures for February on the electronic trading of the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) declined by $0.38 (0.51%) to $74.25 per barrel. Following the trading on 9 January, the value of February futures for WTI oil grew by $0.86 (1.17%) up to $74.63 per barrel.
