December 12, Fineko/abc.az. The heads of a number of energy enterprises have been arrested in the provinces of Uzbekistan. 

ABC.AZ reports that they were brought to responsibility for malfunctions in gas and electricity supply to consumers.

The day before Sardor Umurzakov, the head of the Presidential Administration of Uzbekistan, held a regular meeting on issues of energy resources.
At the meeting it was noted that a criminal case was initiated against some industry leaders who committed offenses and showed irresponsibility. A preventive measure in the form of detention has been chosen against them.
